About Pathway Program

Aston’s Pathway Program is a blended learning, based on the right mix of traditional classroom based learning and the new world of online teaching with a simulated environment, that helps students absorb the learning quicker. Aston College provides various courses with unique course structures, having frequent intake dates. This enables flexibility in joining classes and there are no pre-requisites for the Units of Competency that you will be joining. The Units of Competency are independent and you do not need to do one for the other, to make sense. This basically means that whenever you commence your course, you are on the same page as your peers that joined before you.

During your pathway program, Aston College will work with you on improving your competency on English Language. Students will study Advanced English Course every day, to prepare for the English Language Testing, to achieve required score for admission into Bachelors degree. This would equip students to have a good grasp on the most widely used language in the world, making things easier when moving overseas to pursue Higher Education. By eliminating the language barrier, the course work becomes easier.

Aston College realizes that technical or hard skills need to be complemented with soft skills, to enhance an individual’s ability and to set him/ her apart from the rest. Keeping this in mind, students we have developed trainings on soft skills, which the students would get, to gear them up for the present day work environment. This would not only help individuals secure a job in Australia, while pursuing the Bachelor’s degree, but also perform at high levels, improving their future career opportunities.

As the Diploma and English courses progress, students will be working hand-in-hand with the Student Support team at Aston, a facility to assist towards admission in the University and preparation of visa application documents. This only happens once a student successfully completes a term at Aston and has performed well in the two units of competencies, delivered in that specific term.

By facilitating the documentation for admission to University, including visa, we prepare the student for a quicker transition from the home country to Australia. This will benefit one, getting ahead in the career path, besides gaining financial benefits.
